This deck is based on the first deck I had that really struck fear into my friends' hearts. Even today, the original Kavu Deck (without the budget limitations) is pretty decent at producing a steady stream of angry, trampling creatures.
Typical "stompy" I suppose. All we really want to (and can) do is overwhelm the opponent with an angry horde of trampling Kavu. We hope for a first turn Llanowar Elves to help us ramp. We can play Sparkcaster (which might cost less because of Thunderscape Familiar) or Horned Kavu over and over again for counters on Kavu Monarch or cards from Elemental Bond, or use it just once to return a Flametongue Kavu or a Kavu Titan that hasn't been kicked to our hand.
