Deck Description

I just felt like making an Angel Deck, So I made this one. It isn't an actual deck that I have, but I wish it was. Any suggestions on something to speed up this deck a little? Seems pretty slow to me at the moment.
EDIT: Well, it sped up a little, and since this is only for casual play, i think I'm going to go against the norm on this site and put like 70 cards in this deck, even if it will once again slow me back down a bit. I can get used to it though.
EDIT: Took almost all of the suggestions from the comments and once again returned this deck a reasonable size. Thanks for the help everybody!
EDIT: Wow, changed like 4 cards around and went to look at the prices, and this deck came out to like 78 bucks....wow...not what I would have expected.

Deck discussion for Angel's Wrath (Please Help)

-Instead of Glorius Anthem, i'd use Honor of the Pure.
-There isn't much point of serra's embrace since most angels have vigilance and all of them have flying already. Same with Asha's Favor. Hyena umbra is a real good aura (and cheap).
-Instead of Coat of Arms (which benefits you and your opponent), you could try Door of Destinies.
-Wall of Omens is an AWESOME card. Get 4 copies. I'd also get 2 more copies of Angelic Wall for stalling.
-I'd get a 4th copy of Serra Avenger. Although you can't play it on turn 1, 2, 3, you can play 2 on turn 4, or if you can figure out a way to give it flast, you can play it during your opponents turns.
-Since you're running mono white, i'd replace 4 plains with Emeria, the Sky Ruin. Endless Horizons is a good enchantment. It essentially lets you play 2 cards a turn (1 land, and 1 other spell that you draw), which speeds your deck up so much.
-You might get some benefit out of Luminarch Ascension.
-You need more removal. Path to exile, condemn, smite, swords to plowshares, unmake all good contenders.
-Brave the Elements is probably one of the greatest cards for mono white ever printed. Get 4 copies.

Lands:
Cut the Emeria's at best you can use the ability by turn 6 and that is only with Endless horizons in play turn 8 or later will be your norm.

Go to 20 Plains and nothing else for your lands. Almost nothing that comes into play tapped is worth ever using.

Creatures:
Cut some of your more expensive angels for cheaper creatures
You probably want to have around 8 or more turn 1 drops, especially creatures. You have none.

Removal/Control
Cut Mass Calcify, it's too expensive.

Unmake is probably not worth using in a white deck.

Run 4 Swords for creature removal and run a little extra for other problems you might find.

Its slow but it looks pretty neat.

Those are two very conflicting comments. haha, can you guys think of any low cost angels or creatures that are mono white that let you draw cards or something like that? And i really just need something to speed this up. thanks for the suggestions. any more are welcome after I tweak this.

Drop the angel feathers for Soul's Attendants or Soul Wardens.

I'm gonna go half way for that one, only because it is alot harder to destroy an artifact than it is to kill a creature, at least with the people I usually play with.. But I do like the one drop addition

I like this deck...it seems to me to have about enough control to stall the game long enough until you can start playing angels. I really don't like Avenging Angel, it'll just flat-out slow you down. (a method of control with some control decks is putting a card back on top of your library...just sayin'). If you can find a spot for them, and if you think your life-gain is consistent enough, I would suggest Serra Ascendant. It isn't technically an angel, but it's a great one-drop that "turns into" an angel (sorta).

Hope I helped! =]

giving me something to think about. Well, i already had to choose between Avenging angel or Serra Ascendant. Im betting if I can get out a souls warden and then maybe an angel feather while i have him out there, i could get him to a 5/5 in a reasonable amount of time. and good point on the fact that many control cards send your cards to the top of your library.

Your deck is getting kinda big. Do you have any plans to get it back down near 60 cards?

You should drop Iona down to 2 copies. Theres no point in having 4 seeing as she costs a rediculous amount of mana (and you dont have any mana acceleration) and shes also a legendary, so you can't have multiple copies out.

Swords to plowshares and Path to exile do the same thing, so i'd pick 1 over the other for the sake of lowering the total amount of cards in your deck.

I'd Probably drop door of destinies alltogether. Its not effective since you only have 8~10 angels in your deck. Light from within would probably do a better job.

I'd also drop latern kami. Its identical to suntail hawk.

That brings you down to 60 cards.

I am frightened of Light from Within, now that I look at it. Thanks for the tips!

Well, maybe I was wrong and I actually dropped this deck back down to 60 cards. This is starting to shape up into a decent deck. Thanks everybody for the comments. This is why I love this site, even if I've only been a member for like 5 days. So thanks again from the noob!
