Deck discussion for Zombie Pod

NO! You are missing so many of the really good zombies!!
WHy no cemetery reaper or vengefull pharaoh.... Scary man... scary.... ha i don't know if it will need the pharaoh or not he is just one of my all time favorite card he is just really cool lol but cemetery reaper is a great card and should not be looked over. Also Endless ranks of the dead might not be a main POD focus but still very good for zombies... Also this deck has green mana symbols and with t2 the way it is zombies should be built like so B/G = Big nasty creatures or B/U = Mill bash or self mill check out some of my zombie decks.... I have a lot of them haha also take a look at my new undying deck if you get a chance Thanks and good luck.

why do you have Woodland Cemetery? I know Birthing Pod is a green spell, and paying the two life may not be available late on, but it's like paying 1 Red for Gutshot: no one does it.

You should take them away and throw in more zombies. You could totally use Phyrexian Obliterator, since your deck is Mono-Black, and Geralf's Messenger is the perfect Pod-target for it. Take out Pierce Strider for it. Also, Obliterator has been dropping in price like flies (I got a playset for $40 in comparison to costing $30/ea a few months ago).

Also, I constructed a very similar deck that has Butcher Ghoul instead of Skinrender. Butcher Ghoul is a great 2-CMC Pod-target, and he helps benefit Blood Artist.

I thought about adding Blood Artist, but it made my deck 1 turn slower every time. It may be a good addition, but... it may not. Keep it unless you're going to play Endless Ranks of the Dead.

Here's my deck. Again, it's similar, but more Zombie-based than yours: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=348587

I might include 1-2x Sorin's Vengeance's for life-gain (I'm not suggesting it for you, however). Blood Artist may be a better life-gain choice, but it's situational, and can be destroyed.... then again,... Jeez, I hate these types of decisions....

I mean, if you have the choice of playing Angel's Mercy and Exquisite Blood, which would you play? Sure, Exquisite Blood can gain oyu much more life, but you need to keep it on the field for a while, while Angel's Mercy is instant 7 life.

It's the same situation here, at least for me.

I feel like blood artist is better just because A) its 5 mana cheeper and B) If things aren't going your way you can always pod it away for somthing better
