Deck Description

I found that Victim of Night is a powerful substitute to the current meta, but does fall victim to Red Agro decks using Aristocrat yet then again, we have Azorius Charms and Terminus lol. Make sure to sideboard against certain decks. vsAgro - Bblind Obediencde. vsControl - Mind Grind and Dispel. There are many ways to use the battlefield to your advantage and ultimately win through a slow death.

How to Play

Build the battlefield under your watch with Azorius Charm, Victims, Supreme Verdict, or anything that comes up your sleeve. This deck is built to control your opponent and win by either Ghost Council ownage or the milling power of Jace. Make sure to properly used your mana when you need it the most. Never throw major cards, like Sphinx or Snapcaster to bring Supreme or Terminus early.

Victim of Night isn't bad, but keep in mind that (while it isn't top tier) there are some zombie decks floating around that could really benefit from you not having reliable removal.

Second, Mind Grind is a cool card, but control probably isn't the matchup you want it in: most control decks feature somewhere between 24 and 27 lands, which makes it very difficult to mill effectively.

Overall it doesn't look bad. I'd add a second memory adept (cut one obzedat- only one, he's good). And a second or third snappy never hurts.

Good luck!
