Deck Description

Basic concept really, based around getting them down to 13 or another combo with Tree of Perdition to win.

How to Play

So I originally built my triskaidekaphobia for standard but then I moved out of standard and into commander just because the amount of money needed to keep up and win, so my deck sat around for a few months. Just recently I wanted to make a modern deck so I decided to take apart my old deck and restructure it to fix modern. I messed around with different win conditions and read ALOT on the rulings of Tree of perdition and came up with a few combos beyond the generic Tree, Trisk combo. Turn to Frog, an underestimated card, may seem useless in this situation when used on Tree because it removes all abilities, but once tree's ability is activated and is on the stack it is independent of the card, therefore you can in-response it, turning it into a 1-1 frog, carrying out the transfer, putting targeted opponent at 1 life and tree, a 0-20 if they have taken no damage. The other combo is the soul separator, tree combo. It requires a tree to already be dead or you to kill your tree with terminate. Then you use soul separator's ability to make it a 1/1 then put them at 1 life and so on. The counter spell's are to prevent your opponent from stopping your combos and becoming too big of a threat early on. Terminate is to obviously kill stuff and the combo. vexing devil is to provide some burn if you are without any win conditions and you need to burn them down to 13 or provide some blockers. Lightning bolt is to finish the aftermath of the tree-frog and soul-tree combos and to take out any creature as needed.
