The Izzet aren't just cowardly scientists sitting behind their instruments. Take control of this elite band of mages, and show your enemies the power of technology in the hands of your army. This deck is another easy-to-use cheapie for the early players. It's a mix of Izzet, Rakdos, Boros and the Avacyn Restored red human decks. The theme is arming large numbers of small humans with all kinds of crazy Izzet techno-magic, then crushing your enemy. The crossbow beats the longbow, and the lightening-charged gizmometer beats the sword.
Probably the most important card in this deck are Wingcrafters. They get you a turn 2 flying Chainwalker, so you're essentially attacking with a Delver on turn 3. Use this to start chunking down your enemy on the early turns until you're ready to carry out your epic vendetta and take them from 20 health to -17.Of course, the Wing-Walker trick is hilarious but it's not the theme of the deck. Get small humans down every chance you get, like Vigilante or Kruin Striker. You don't want to trade them if you can avoid it (Unless you wanna waste a Weapon Surge) , so prepare to take a small beating up until turn 5. However, don't under-estimate the deck's ability to completely pound on an enemy. Riot Ringleaders, Weapon Surge, and Thatcher Revolt can turn a tapped out enemy into a red mist within a single turn. Combine this with Sleep, and you have a free turn to cut the enemy to ribbons. If you're lucky, it's completely possible to crush somebody in 5 turns with this deck. You wanna be careful about burny decks which will take the guts out of your army before you get a chance to wing, things like Electrickery are a right pain, so be very careful if your enemy sideboards this. However you don't have to be too scared of token decks thanks to Blustersquall and Sleep.
