Deck Description

My Kor deck which was the first deck I assembled since I started playing last fall. Armament Master is good at hiding in the deck though so watch out for that :D

Deck discussion for Standard Kor Armory

Nice work so far :)

Because you say "Standard" I assume you want to be competitive. So here's my advice:
-------------------
I'd put 4 Kor Firewalkers in the main. They are so good against so many matchups. And they are 2/2 Kors for 2.

I'd play 4 Sunpetal Grove, 3 Stirring Wildwood, and at least 2 Behemoth Sledge. You should pick the best equipments and a few situational ones. Most of the ones in the list are a bit weak. (Basilisk Collar is probably the best in your deck right now. And the evasion ones are good, too)

I'd play 4 Honor of the Pure, and 2 Elspeth. Especially with Conqueror's Pledge.

Rest for the Weary is weak.

Choose the Best of the Best: the best Kor-s, the best Equipment, the best Spells, the best Land. You will have to cut some Kors and Equipment to make other stuff fit in.
------------
Or you can play my ~ $900 Standard Deck:

If only I had $900, lol.

The reason for the "weak" equipments is to have cheap equipments to drop and equip the Armament Master which usually isn't attacking anyway, it usually puts him into far too much risk. Rest for the Weary is a weak card as you say, but it's mostly a filler card which I thought of replacing anyway, probably with another Kor Creature and another Explorer's Scope which is a cheap, great early-game equipment. Using the non-basic lands you suggested might be good when going with the Behemoth Sledge, but if you skip that one there's little reason to add any non-basic lands since they usually just slow down your game, I've seriously considered skipping Sejiri Steppe for two basic Plains.

Honor of the Pure is essentially an equipped Armament Master divided by two, so I don't see the "greatness" in that card and Elspeth is a great card but just too expensive for my taste.

Thanks a lot for your comment, I will look into some of the tips and try them out :)
