Deck Description

This is my current deck that I have been playing. It's used for multiplayer with my friends. I had things like Vraska in it but with all the blue/white decks and their cyclonic rifts that they love to play so much I decided to switch things around and add killing wave back in. :) Let me know what you think. Any comments, likes, or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

How to Play

The point is to sit there and poke at them with my creatures and fog if they are swinging with a lot of damage. Usually I kill my friends by sacrificing Hydra for Jarad's ability. If that doesn't work then I try to wipe their field or use Hydra to trample over their creatures.

Deck discussion for Golgari Deck V. 3

what is the point of the moon mist in this deck. if you are looking for damage prevention why not use clinging mists or terrifying presence, some other cheap fog types that actually serve more of a purpose here. moon mist seems more suited for a wolf type deck or at least with something that for transformation purposes. also have you considered throwing in some increasing savagery for counters of doom. with the corpsejack and that your hydra would be perfect for flinging, anything would to be honest.

Clinging Mist is 3 cost. Moonmist is 2 cost. Terrifying Presence isn't too bad. I have to keep the cost of the deck down. But Moon mist serves it's purpose for what I use it for (to transform opponents cards). It's a multiplayer deck only. I know what my friends play with and it works. :p Increasing Savagery isn't too bad either but still it's a 4 cost.

Hi, I also am a friend of the golgari, so its nice to see another deck strengthening the swarm!
As far as your deck, there are some spells I think you could replace with more viable options. You already explained why you like to run moon mist, so i wont comment on that. However I would recommend to cut a few creatures and complete the playsets so they are more reliable to draw: take out the assassin and add another lotleth troll and gravecrawler. Also, since this is a creature-based deck, i dont see you benefiting as much from killing wave as others and there are more reliable cards to sacrifice creatures like jarad or the korozda guildmage. so i would rather take another jarad and some guildmages than the killing wave.

Hey, I came here because you looked at my Golgari Deck: http://www.mtgvault.com/gr33dy/decks/golgari-aggro/

From what I see, it needs some work :/ Moonmists need to go. They are taking up 3 spots. >.< I like the abrupt decay and fog, but you need some more removal like murder, tragic slip, ultimate price, ect ect. Just having 3 killing waves will not cut it. Also, your creature curve is strange. You have Corpsejack menase in there but no scavenge. Yes, is it nice for having lotleth troll, but the odds of having both out are rare and by turn 5, you should have advantage, not needing to find it.

However, I do like seeing an attempt on a slow kill golgari. Its not a horrible concept. I reccoment getting some stab wounds to make it even more painful. Also, try to get some more mana ramp.

Not bad looking; I run a pretty good golgari deck I play with against friends and in tournaments. Check it out:
