Deck Description

rg wolfies. done the right way. me and the shop owner threw this together and tested it against all the shop's decks. 2-0 against W/U control. 1-2 against solar flare. 2-1 against pod. 2-0 against mono black infect. (gut shot ftw). and 2-1 against their Wu blade. wanna try a devler matchup. probly would get stomped tho. missing cards are right below.

2x immerwolf
3x huntmaster of the fells
1x mondronen shaman

Deck discussion for Howl'd you do that

Why not more Moonmist? Its so good lol. And immerwolf looks a tad anti synergistic with huntmaster. But he's the only one you want to transform once in a while I guess lol. I love this though I'm probably gonna take this as my reference lol

in all the matches where i drew moonmist, i found my guys were already transformed so it was a dead card for me. the only good thing moonmist does for me is transform my dudes and possibly save them, but the problem with the card is that are so many control variants right now that my guys are flipping easily and staying that way thanks to immerwolf. the only deck i really want that card against is tempered. all the other current decks arent playing two spells a turn. yea the immerwolf thing i had mixed up. glad u commented on him cuz he is only a 2 of. hes actually not bad with huntmaster. yes, he does prevent him from flipping. but if hes out, i paid four mana for 2 3/3 guys and gained 2 life. its not bad either way. but yes, believe me when i tell you that this deck is nothing short of consistent, and terribly fun to play. :)

Right on. I guess the appeal for Moonmist is greater to me than you. Unless I'm playing a Wearwolf deck i actually run two moonies mainboard haha. Just for it's fog effect though. But then again my deck isn't aggro. I guess if I was playing you I'd side in timely's day of judgment and spellskite. Check mine out and tell me what you think. It's the bant turbo mill.

Not a bad looking deck. I'm still debating trying to make a werewolf deck myself, as I don't have the full mechanics down yet, but this is definitely helping me out. Good job!

wow this looks pretty good honestly. the only thing that could make it a lil more fun would be garruk relentless. pops out wolf tokens and u dont have to flip him really. just the token generation could be amuzing.

i tried him as a 2 of in the deck but found he was too slow. theres 2 in the side tho for drawn out matchups.

Wow. Our's look almost exactly the same lol Mine's got more removal though, which I think might be a must considering the competition. Browse it at your leisure, James.

the deck has potentially 12 removal spells. why would i play more. holding onto removal slows decks like this down. if i got a 2/2 first strike, and u got a chump blocker, i would much rather swing and make u block and play a dude, than burn ur chump and swing. board presence and control is the key to winning

Nice looking deck, I'm still tinkering with mine a bit to get the tempo more under control so I've been experiementing with some of the new werewolves. 4 Mayor's and 4 Immer's help a tremendous amount and I think I'm going to revert back to 4 Reckless Waif and cut off some of the 3 and 4 CMC guys just to speed things up a notch or 3.

If you get the chance, check mine out, open to any and all criticism.

Very similar to my werewolves, but I run a few more creatures than you though. Mine is straight up get the werewolves out and beat down with the few recently added cards to pump them. And than my sideboard is solely filled with Artifact, Flying and Enchantment destruction just in case I run into problems.

I like that werewolves have become competitive, especially since we won't be seeing any new ones in Avacyn Restored. Very nice deck, werewolves are so much fun to play with. Only thing I would be wary of is Immerwolf interacting with Huntmaster (who is supposed to be flipping). Check out my Lich deck: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=297491
