Main Deck (61 cards)

Sideboard (15 cards)

Enchantments (2)

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

Nothing says "weenies" like 25+ one-drops. And they just won't die! Even when they do....

How to Play

That's right, it doesn't matter so much if your weenies die. Throw them into battle, chump block, laugh off kill spells and even board wipes. You can even thank your opponent for helping your strategy along, because they're ALL going to come back, and bigger and better than before. Heck, you've got a playset of Wrath of God to wipe them out yourself!

The key card that makes it all tick is Immortal Servitude. For only 4 CMC, it lets you bring back every single creature in this deck from the graveyard. Doesn't matter if they fell in battle, got killed off, were sacrificed, wiped out, or milled. They're all back for an encore, again and again.

That still wouldn't be all that impressive except for how big some of them can get. Champion of the Parish triggers off every other creature here (yeah, they're all Human), and so if you return him first along with, say, three other creatures, he enters play as a 4/4 with potential to grow more. Similar for Hada Freeblade (though he only triggers off other copies of himself...sadly no other 1-drop Allies exist).

And then there's the Soul Sisters. Soul's Attendant and Soul Warden gain you life every time a creature enters play, so think about that again with Servitude dropping a bunch in play at once. Hope you're good at math!

Some other creatures do their best work on the way out rather than coming in (but are obviously great to bring back so they can go out in a blaze of glory again!). Loyal Sentry essentially has deathtouch and can stall for a LONG time. Doomed Traveler replaces himself with a 1/1 flying Spirit when he perishes, giving you two blocks for the price of one.

Or, with Spear of Heliod and a full set of Honor of the Pure, potentially more than blocks. With just a couple of those boosters in play, your weenies become a respectable fighting force despite their (initially) low stats. And just imagine if you manage to get Elspeth to go ultimate!

The other card of note is Proclamation of Rebirth. It's a limited Servitude and a good emergency way to get around someone's Surgical Extraction/Counterbore/etc of Servitude, should that happen.

More wipe in the sideboard lets you also target artifacts or enchantments (Austere Command) or replace all your creatures with one big beater (Phyrexian Rebirth). Sudden Disappearance is a way to retrigger your creatures without them having to die, and Angel of Glory's Rise is yet another alternative way to bring them all back when they DO die (and exile Zombies while you're at it). Nevermore is a good catch-all for problem cards. The rest are other 1-drop weenies with flying and/or various effects that can help a bit against aggro or control.

What do you think? I thought long and hard about splashing blue to get access to Wingcrafter, Mothdust Changeling (trigger Champion AND Freeblade), Mass Appeal, Supreme Verdict, and perhaps even the mother of all one-drops, Delver of Secrets, but didn't want to make Immortal Servitude any harder to cast...and really, the deck doesn't NEED them anyway. Do YOU think it's worth it, though? Weigh in...any constructive comments will get +1 rep points from me!

Yes, they all enter play at the same time. But according to the rules, they all "see" the other Humans entering at the same time and get counters from each of them. That's the beauty of it.

If I had two CotP and two other Humans all enter at the same time, as with Servitude, both Champions would be able to spot three other Humans (the other Champ and the other two Humans) entering the battlefield and they would each get three +1/+1 counters. I can't find the specific rule right now, but that's been verified many times. Just check the interwebs. :-)

All good. It's a little counterintuitive. :-)

Great deck. I really like the use of the Ranger of Eos in here. i know they are not Humans, but Figure of Destiny would be a nice addition.
