Deck Description

Come at me, bro!

Block me, bro!

Neither is a very tempting prospect when you're running out a force of deathtouched, regenerating, and/or indestructible creatures that are ready to feast!

How to Play

Lots of fun combos and interactions in this deck, all with one goal in mind: destroy opposing creatures, keep your creatures alive through regeneration or indestructibility, and do your damage to the opponent in combat.

Predator Ooze is a key card here. It works well with Ulvenwald Tracker in that well-used combo, and also is great with deathtouch from Nightshade Peddler or Basilisk Collar, essentially becoming a creature whose only real threat is being bounced. Otherwise, it'll pile up a lot of bodies. Tracker or Peddler/Collar work well with the trolls here as well, as the trolls can deal their damage and regenerate to survive the counterstrike if necessary. Same with Wolfir Avenger, who has the added benefit of being able to flash in and wreak unexpected havoc even when the opponent thinks he's safe.

The other way to beat opposing creatures (and the opponent!) up is in the red zone. Those same strategies work fine there as well, but you also have some combat tricks to make things more uncomfortable for the opponent. Irresistible Prey and Lure ensure their creatures HAVE to block, which isn't a great prospect when you're sending these deathtouched and hard-to-kill beaters their way. And Revenge of the Hunted can be just devestating if used at the right time. Imagine that with a deathtouched Predator Ooze, or with Engulfing Slagwurm! They can eat up the entire opposing army in one shot!

The sideboard has creatures with certain additional protections (against countering and/or certain colors) that are great to pair with Peddler/Collar and Tracker. Hunt Down is good if there's one creatures you just HAVE to get dead, and the same goes for good old Naturalize and key artifacts or enchantments. Rancor can provide some trampling power to your beaters if the opponent is able to just keep throwing blockers in front of them.
