Yeah, it's really about that simple. All your creatures have shadow (or are flat out unblockable) and can just swing in until the opponent is down for the count. Auras with strength boosters greatly accelerate the damage. Gods Willing, Dawn Charm, and Rootborn Defenses keep them alive as the opponent tries to dig up an answer. Darkness, Batwing Brume, and Dawn Charm (again) minimize the damage they do when they inevitably try to outrace you in the red zone.The sideboard mostly has additional ways to protect your creatures, either by sliding one in that's immune to most burn (Soltari Priest) or protecting them all from damage, artifacts, toughness modifiers, and board wipe. Oh, and also Path to Exile, because why not?
