The goal is to land Dragon fatties and just run roughshod over the opponent. Unlike my legacy Dragon deck (http://www.mtgvault.com/jre47/decks/reign-of-fire-legacy) which can drop beefy dragons without too much trouble by turn 4, this one has to work a bit more to get there. To ensure you don't get pounded into dust before you get to land your own threats, a bevy of sorceries that lay out battlefield-wide burn should hold down early threats. You've also got some nice blocking potential by way of Dragon Egg (who conveniently turns into a little dragon you can use if you apply area-wide burn) and Slumbering Dragon, your best answer to speedy aggro at best, and a target for early removal at worst so your later dragons aren't immediately picked off.You CAN still get hefty Dragons out quickly by way of some ramp spells. Desperate Ritual can drop 5-cost dragons like Hunted Dragon and Scourge of Valkas by Turn 3 if everything plays out right, and especially when you consider that Geosurge can come online after that...yeah, with the right draws, the opponent could be staring at a couple massive threats early on.More than likely, though, you'll instead be wiping the table and then dropping Dragons one after another by midgame.
