Deck Description

Lightning fast infect deck. By the time you realize you're coming down with a dreadful illness, it's far too late.

How to Play

Yes, I hated infect while it was in Standard too, but I figured I had to try one out, and it's pretty cheap to build. I like quick-working weenie decks, so this seemed a natural enough build for me.

Other than a single 3-CMC Viridian Betrayers (who is the closest thing the mainboard has to a "closer"), every creature here costs 2 or less. And also for 2 mana or less, you can play and/or equip some powerful stuff, from the awesome Rancor and eternal Bonesplitter to more specific equipment like Silver-Inlaid Dagger and Cloak and Dagger (both of which are especially nice with Blighted Agent).

Strike hard and fast; best possible scenario is a Turn 1 Glistener Elf and/or Inkmoth Nexus for all-but guarateed early poison counters. That then allows quick proliferation (Thrummingbird, Throne of Geth, Tezzeret's Gambit) and switches on Corrupted Resolve to shoot down particularly threatening spells.

Feeling sick? I'd say to get that checked out, but the reality is, it's probably already too late.

Deck discussion for Sudden Illness

I like this deck, seems pretty fast. Like the Glistener Elf at 4, that is an amazing card. Hate infect... lol... worse than wither or poison... seeing as it's both. Please comment on my Elf Haven deck.
