Thanks for the link and that looks like a solid deck that would wreak havoc on creature heavy decks.

New to magic myself but from what i've seen, most mill decks would not seriously be affected by hexproof as it targets the player not characters.

i was talking about making yourself hexproof via witchbane orb

So I just played 10+ games with this token deck versus your Stuffy Doll deck, and the Stuffy Doll deck lost 100% of the time. Either Devout Chaplain came out and Stuffy Doll didn't even matter anymore, as Exile bypasses indestructible, or there was very little mana in my hand, or I just never got the Stuffy Doll through the entire game.

I understand the concept on paper. Lure so everything targets Stuffy Doll, buff enemy creatures, and enemy loses a lot/all life, but that situation never happened. If I did ever get the Stuffy Doll out and working, then I didn't ever get a Lure or anything similar, and if I did, it was one turn before the Stuffy Doll deck lost anyway, so I didn't have enough mana to use it.

I've been playing against myself using these two decks for a few hours now. I want to see the Stuffy Doll deck work, but it hasn't. There were times that I had a 1 or 0 mana hand with the token deck and I took it anyway as a handicap so the Stuffy Doll deck could get the lead, and even those games the token deck won.

Rhys the Redeemed could be put in good use here. Also, Gather the Townsfolk could be handy. Try to run more small creatures to don´t be slow in turns 1-3. I like it overall, please comment my deck too if have time, ttp://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=387128

I agree that Rhys would do well here but i was attempting to keep it standard as I've just constructed 2 other decks that play casual and I need something for FNM. You make a good point with gather the townsfolk and i was looking at unruly mob as well. After i put it together, the mana ramp was a little harsher than i was wanting but what would i replace to bring either of those guys in?

Maybe adding a splash of blue for defence
Check out this deck if you have a moment thanks

I would replace Moonsilver Spear for the Gather the Townsfolk. It would fit better in a deck with fattys creatures, your strength here is numbers, not size. I would run one less Captain of the Watch too, 4 seems to much for me, maybe you could run another Pacifism instead. Champion of the Parish is great too considerin also that you don´t have 1 drop cost, pretty expensive also.

Both of those suggestions make a lot of sense. I will definitely add gather the townsfolk an take out the spears and 1x captain. I really like the champion but agree that its a little expensive. It may be worth it in the long run though as i don't have a solid mana ramp right now. Thanks for the recommendations.

I was thinking about building a deck like this. I thought the card Griffin Protector would work pretty well as it would get +3/+3 everytime you played a Captain, or Captain's Call. And if you were to play an Increasing Devotion... Bam! Surprise, a 7/8 Flyer coming at your face!

this is a mono white deck, i think honor of the pure would really help give ur creatures a little extra boost, maybe sideboard some or add a few into the deck

Enjoy Honor of the Pure but unfortunately no longer standard. Wanting to keep this in my FNM rotation.

Very cool card and absolutely great call, what to cut for it though? Thoughts?

I disagree, because while Commander's Authority has potential, the enchanted creature can be removed, and you lose two-for-one, maybe before even mileauge out of it. It also competes with other 5-mana drops, and there are enough of those here.

Maybe, just maybe, although you would have to test it, you could take out a single Plains without it hurting your build. Also, I always wanted to make a token deck with Cathar's Crusade and never thought of a viable way to do it. I love it. Though, I wonder if x4 is not too much. Well, anyway, the deck has been improved, so kudos :)

Thanks, I agree with the Commander's Authority as it did play test it and it struggled exactly as you said. I've also thought that Cathar's Crusade and Captains Call might be too much at 4 and may need to be taken down to 3. If I did that, what do you see as possible additions?
