I try to start out first by building a solid defense using creatures with deathtouch or lifelink using enchantment, sorcery, or instant cards along the way. Then I go for an all out assault aided with cards like Diabolic Revelation or Increasing Ambition which help for quick access to Sorin Markov or a card needed in a certain situation like Victim of Night or possibly Ghoulcaller's Chant.
