Deck Description

This is a midrange mono-black deck that splashes red for the dreadbores and Rakdos's Returns. It plays fairly quickly and doesn't rely heavily on mana, with plenty of 2, 3, and 4 drops.

How to Play

The main point of this deck is to play your removal and card draw spells so that you can control the board state until you can drop a Griselbrand, or a large Rakdos's Return. Cheap removal like ultimate price and dreadbore pave the way for your Messengers and Desecration Demons, which can clear up a board state if left unchecked, as well as end a game pretty quickly on their own.

Deck discussion for Griselbrand Midrange Control

Against any deck that can protect their creatures, you would probably be pretty screwed. I have two suggestions:
1) Glaring Spotlight, to avoid hexproof and for a potential last-minute win condition.
2) Stromkirk Noble. This guy is great, he quickly becomes a huge force to be reckoned with.

I had glaring spotlight in the deck for a while, but it didn't function like I wanted it to. I have mutilate to avoid hexproof and field wipe if things get out of control, but I think that I might want to add 1 more of them to the main deck, and maybe sideboard another
