This is a type of deck commonly seen in Top 8 placers in standard since Beseiged. It is effective and quite fun to play. It's all about the Gobbies. Get 'em out there quick and use the new Battle Cry mechanic to light up your opponent with red swarm gobbs in no time flat. Other variants of the deck use cards such as Ornithopter (for improved chances of 1st turn Kuldotha Rebirthing), Burst Lightning, nonbasic red lands such as Teetering Peeks or Smoldering Spires, and a handful of cards out of my price range right now such as Hero of Oxid Ridge, Mox Opal, and Fetch Lands (Arid Mesa and Scalding Tarn). Most variants do not run Ember Hauler or Pyretic Ritual, but I colored outside the lines to save money. Speaking of which, this deck cost MUCH less then most competetive decks. Way less. A good way to get a good deck at a good price :) buy the Event Deck: Into the Breach for $25 and you've pretty much got the deck. Go Gobbies!!!
