Deck Description

this is my life gain deck I build it to stay defensive while draining away the opponents life total by other means than combat damage, with various ways of being able to win the deck is fun to play for sure and can deal with a lot of problems you may face via indestructible creatures, enchantments that cause you not to gain life, other planeswalkers etc.

How to Play

There are many ways to find a good win in this deck it's not built for a super fast kill either. staying on the defensive is the main strategy, while draining your opponent of life.
the main combo here is obviously sanguine bond and exquisite blood. (with demons horn or the staff to trigger it instantly)

other combo's include:
sanguine bond and congregate
exquisite blood, tainted remedy, and congregate.
pretty much anything in the deck with the felidar sovereign.
sunbond, gift of orzhova, with any creature ( I use bloodbond vampire)

using the defensive:
the best way to go about this is using Athreos. since this deck is built up of gaining and draining it already puts the pressure of loosing life to your life gain on another player so there gunna wanna take your stuff out so they can get at you to bring you down to there size, but if there already loosing life making the decision to pay three life every time they want to keep a creature out of your hand is going to be tough. giving you the chance to keep putting blockers on the field. utilizing the whip of erebos to give all your creatures having life link will continue to add pressure since now they have to worry about attacking, they wont want you to continue to gain life every time they attack on top of your ever growing life gain on almost every turn.

I tried to add answers to most problems though not every problem can be solved so easy, I've found in my time there aren't always players who play with heavy enchantment removal, so I added only one creature in there to bring one back in case you lost one, other than that it's timing your drops properly that can help to avoid them getting countered. erase is in there in case your opponent may drop tainted remedy which could otherwise just cripple this deck and leave it begging for mercy.

I haven't found a whole lot wrong with the deck though i feel as though a few things could really kick it's ass via first or double strike, or even haste could hurt it big time, and a really well played blue control could make it almost impossible to play the things you really need.

if there are any suggestions I'm definitely open to them, if you think there are some major problems you can see: please let me know.
