Deck Description

This is a control deck using almost exclusively planeswalkers. Once you get your planeswalkers out, it's very hard for the opponent to do anything, and it's usually fairly easy to get to that point. Has good matchups vs most decks, the hardest deck i've faced has been fast land destruction, but you have to be fairly unlucky. I can also imagine having some trouble versus a man land deck with burn/control cards that work on planeswalkers but I've never come up against something like that, if it even works.

Why am I sharing this deck with you? Well, I'm curious as to whether anyone here can tell me whether it's potentially PTQ viable. I've never been to a PTQ before, but it seems to matchup well vs most of the modern PTQ decks I know of.

Decks I've played vs:

Pillow Control
Melira Pod
Gruul Aggro
Land Destruction

I've been thinking of taking out Sorin for Elspeth (Sun's Champion) and Liliana for Jace (either Beleren or Memory Adept), also considering trying to fit in Gideon Jura and/or Bolas but I don't think that will happen.

I think I'm going to put Sorin in sideboard, and if I do end up moving Jace in I will likely take out Killing Wave/Bonfire and move Wrath/Verdict into the mainboard and focus more on a mill style of play.

How to Play

I usually play on the draw. I prefer to have card advantage so I can dig for my lands a tiny bit better at the start rather than play. In game 1 I usually try to get my planeswalkers out and then either boost their loyalty or remove any threats the opponent has to my walkers.

If all goes well, I'll usually have 3+ walkers approaching ultimate with the opponent having very little counterplay. I've been able to ult all of my planeswalkers fairly frequently but it's generally better to use their non ultimates unless you need their ults.
