Deck Description

Bant Aura Deck.
I am trying to build a deck besides the typical Hexproof Aura Bant Deck. My idea is to use cheap creatures (cmc 3) as hitters, and enchant them. Umbra Mystic as protection.
Main Auras: Rancor, Spirit Mantle and Steel of Goodhead (8 of my beaters are W/U).
Any ideas of to improve it? Added Fertile Ground for fixing.
Suggestions are wellcomed!

How to Play

T1: Noble Heirarch plus land (ouch if shockland)
T2: Several alternatives: Jenara, Geist or Spiritdancer+Rancor (and a card ^^).
T3: Attack and keep enchanting.

Deck discussion for Bant Modern Auras

Not bad, but few small points:
1.If this should have been modern, maybe you wanted Unflinching Courage instead of Armadillo Cloak.
2.Instead of Oblivion Ring you can run Detention Sphere. But the ring is fine I guess.
3.Also I dont like Jenara much, maybe Aura Gnarlid fills the same role? Kinda - evasive, continually growing creature :-)
4.Steel of the Godhead is arguably the worste enchantment you have(3CMC,conditional), fits nice with Geist, but otherwise I would play less copies in favour of other enchantments.
5.Try Daybreak Coronet and Invisible Stalker
6.Fertile ground may be better match to Ethereal armor than Farseek although more vulnerable.
I play modern UW auras and I am still looking for improvements, if you want some inspiration or possibly help me a bit I would be glad. http://www.mtgvault.com/zipec/decks/uw-crowned-bogle-modern/

Also about the manabase:
I like hierarch a lot, expensive but awesome, in bant auras better than Birds of Paradise for sure.
But I dont like Farseek.
Your lands produce: W:12 G:16 U:13
Your spells consume: W:32 G:15 U:14
Maybe if you focused your lands more into white, you would not need Farseek for fixing. I am not sure, but you can try it.

Thanks for all sugestions! I completely forgot about Armadillo/Unflinching, allready made the change.
With respect to Jenara, as I am playing Bant and she is a great card I just wanted to get a way to use her.
I added the Daybreak and the Detention Spheres, again my bad with the Oblivion, just thinking of the base deck I built this that is just W/G.
Will be fixing my mana in the next days, but with respect to the amount of G mana, I just want to make sure to have G mana on my opening hand for the accelerators/fixers.

Thank you very much, you really helped!

My thoughts:
Would be nice if Utopia Sprawl could be in place of Fertile Ground, 1 less mana would speed you up awesomely. But the fixing is worse. Both are better than Farseek for sure (Ethereal Armor all the way :-) ), although more vulnerable to land destruction. But Umbra Mystic can help it.
Imho, the land mana-colors are distributed better now. (W:14,G:15,U:12)
I am sad with Noble Heirarch to Birds of Paradise change, but I understand budget reasons behind it.

But there is nothing to complain about. Looks really good.

Tks. Sorry for the late repply.
The Utopia sprawl is a great card, but has the drawback that can only enchant a forest, which can be a huge problem.
Tks for the advice again.
