Main Deck (60 cards)

Sideboard (15 cards)

Enchantments (3)

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

A mix between my previous modern Boros and the standard one.
Simple strategy, aggro. Loyalist will protect your creatures giving them the advantage for their ussual high power (both firts strike and trample). Keep the pressure steady always attacking, till you can play the heroes. Remember with battlecry, the more creatures the better. You have lots of removal to clear the board.

Sideboard: Rest in Peace to keep the Tarmo from growing or the Snapcaster or revivals; Kataki and Wear//Tear for Affinity (and to deal with those annoying enchants); Anger the Gods to Exile the creatures with persist against the Pod (remember with the Medic your guys won't feel it); Paths against big creatures; and Reckoners against other aggro decks.

As allways, comments and suggestions are deeply appreciated.

Recent changes: +2 Thalia, Guardian of Tharben; +1 Lightning Bolt; -3 Path to Exile (in sideboard now); removed the Boros Charm from sideboard.

How to Play

Keep putting creatures into play. If you can get the Medic it allows to keep the pressure steady.
Ideally:
t1- Loyalist
t2- Accorder
t3- Medic
Then enjoy attacking. The more battlecryers the better.

Have you thought about Boros Recruit instead of Boros Elite? Very few creatures in your deck have haste which can be frustrating when playing aggro, I love running Lightnining Mauler for that reason, he means your hero's can attack the turn they hit the table.

As far as I know the Recuit has first strike, or am I wrong? Yes I have very few haste (in fact I am even thinking on replacing Firemanes for Spark Troopers), but I sacrificed the haste for the battlecry.

Hmmm, I'll be honest I'm not entirely sure of what I had in mind when I recommended recruit, I suspect I was getting him and loyalist confused.

Yeah fair enough, its a trade off that is needed to be made occasionally.

Just one thing that you may or may not be aware of is that Hero's tokens don't activate battalion the turn they arrive on the battlfield.

=O Now that you say it I realize it. Altough to be honest, the bladehold is not having such a high impact on the deck as the oxid ridge.
I have 4 loyalists ^^
Tks for the comments. If you have further ideas of how to improve it, I am all hears!

Made some changes recently, to try to make it more competitive. Any ideas or suggestions?

Call me crazy but I Strionic Resonator may just work here. Mid to late game when you have mana open but nothing to due with it, you can copy any battle cry to give another 1 power to all your creatures. Or copy Brimaz's trigger for an extra cat or Hero of Bladehold's for an extra 2 soldiers.

A crazy idea indeed xD. It seems interesting, but I have solved the mid-late game mana open issue. Figure of Destiny is a great mana sink. And also I don't have any idea what I could take from the deck.
Thanks for the idea!

No worries man. I mainly suggested it since the other day I was just playing a friend of mine. Who put it in his soldier/knight deck. It got out of control when he Resonated his Preeminent Captain on turn 4 bringing out a Ranger of Eos and Brimaz, King of Oreskos while having 2 open mana left.

I would def play Thalia since this is such a creature-heavy deck. I don't see the need for path to exile. You have bolts to clear a path for your attackers. If your opponent gets a creature in play you can't handle, by then you should have overrun their board. Maybe a SB option if playing Goryo's vengeance for an early Griselbrand game 2/3.

Great Idea! Although if I have to say how has been the play testing so far, every deck almost always has a bomb with more endurance than 3, an it can play it by the third/fourth/fifth turn. Those creatures are a pain to deal with burn spells. That is what the Path is for in this deck.
I even have the playset of Thalia. You would say 2 Thalias and an extra copy of Lightning Bolt?

I think you have plenty of bolts/removal. Thalia could bump a couple FoD. I can't see a scenario where you'd want to draw more than one of those per game.

Went to the old version of the deck, and moved the Thalias to the sideboard. Making some changes in the sideboard. Trying to fit some Blood Moon.
