Not Flying? Bad Choice

The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Deck Description

Wierd idea, Wierd deck =P

The main idea is to focus on atacking with flying creatures and do not let the other player attack you. For that you have lots of spells that deal damage to creatures without flying.
For attack you have lots of creatures that fly, and can gain flying withe the student of the elements+Kitesail or the Kitesail alone. This also makes them invulnerable to your own damage. As you cast lots of sorceries and instants Talrand and his drakes will be happy =D
For the fast start I choose the Slumbering Dragon that will be sacrifieced later for the Dracoplasm. So you will have a 3/3 (or even 4/4) with flying in the second turn ^^. Tibor and Lumia can be out of the deck, but they give my damage spells to non flying creatures a significant boost.
Finally you have the Mana Leak and Lighting Bolt for your opponent flyers.

If you have any comments please do it, I am not a frecuent blue player so I might have missed something.

Update: -1 Rough Rumble, -1 Roolling Temblor, +2 Earthquakes. Thanks for the comments.

Thanks. I am trying to avoid spells that do damage to me. I was thinking in Street Spasm from the new colection/duel deck.

I see your point. But the spells that damage both players are more effective and allow you to save space in the deck.
Flamebreak is good too but it's RRR.

Sorry for the nob question, but why would you consider it more efficient? It is more mana efficient as you can deal lots of damage, but I deals lots of damage to me. Also don't get why it allows me the save space.
I've seen Flamebreak, but might be complicated to play it in a 2 colored deck.
Thanks ^^!

Let's say your opponent has a 4/4 creature on the battlefield. What's more efficient, 2 rolling temblor or a earthquake paid to 4?
The earthquake is. Using one card and not two, means you have more cards in your hand and more available in the deck. Yes you get damaged, but the opponent gets damaged too. And he loses a big creature while you don't.
The fact that you choose how much damage it does makes it superior to anything else in a deck based on flying creatures.

Not to mention, you could use it as a finisher move. Your opponent has 5 life and destroyed your dragons? Earthquake.

I don't know, it's your choice really, but if you are scared to take damage maybe red isn't the color for you, nor would be black.

I agree with you, I was just trying to minimize the damage I take ^^.
Probably going to add 2 Earthquakes.

Why not Magmaquake? It's an instant that deals damage to ground creatures and planeswalkers.

Thanks! I've seen that card, but now I decided to include the Earthquake for the extra damage as Razka said and see how it works. But It is definetlly a choice to consider!

Tks. In fact the original idea of the deck was UW, specially because I wanted to use pride of the clouds. But had a sudden change of heart. Tks for the comment ^^

hmm i like ur theme here. personally, i would add in 2 more earthquake at least one and i would also add in some of the blue cards that allow u to "recycle" ur earthquakes when u have used em.

Tks. The earthquakes works as removals for big things, the rest works fine with smaller spells. Remember that the temblor can be recicled.
ALthough I've been thinking in removing one Circle of flame for something else.
