Deck Description

Modified version of my previos deck
http://www.mtgvault.com/kajuata/decks/total-detention-azorius/

The main idea is to lock my opponent, either detaining their creatures or returning to their hands. The Angel of Serenity as a finisher and also as control.
Once Venser, The Sonjourner is in play you can start blinking your creatures, as they make their effects as they come in play. Cloudshift also works ^^. Added some counters, tried Remand or Cryptic Command but too expensive for mee >_<.

Comments are always welcomed!

PD: What do you think about replacing Augustin for Lavinia?

How to Play

Keep blinking your creatures =D

Thanks! In fact those cards were on the original deck (i mean I used more jsuticiars on the original deck). I could make some of them, but the question would be, what would you use as an offensive weapon? What I like about the Angel of serenity is that it is a bomb and a control trick at the same time.

I can understand why the angel is in this deck, but if you take it out, you can also allow yourself to make this deck much quicker. By turn 6/7, the game should almost be over, and the angel can't do much to stop that. Either that, or you could add some life gain to speed the deck up.

-Soul Warden
-Sulture Priest (Not sure if that's spelt right)
-Inquisitor Exarch

I understand your point, but taking a look to the cards you suggested I would need more agressive cards to finish the deck. I also though about the Aetherling, but is only 1 mana cheaper.
Also remember that I am playing a control deck, so I think I would be able to get to those turns. The lifegain I thought about the Sphinx blabla (XWWU draw X cards, gain X life, instant), but it is a bit expensive by now.

Well, in that case i think you should at least add some more damage prevention/creature control to slow the game down even more

I'll think about it. Thanks again for the comments. I am still processing the suggestions you made before

why don't you test them out, then see if they did better than your original deck?
