when playing with Hedron Crab, i highly recommend the uses of Oboro, Palace in the Clouds! That way, each and every turn you are assured to have trigger of a landfall. It can easily replace one basic island.

hehehehe its always a pleasure to help ;) good to know i was helpful!
and what i like of your deck is that it is pretty cheap in money cost! Hope you will have some fun playing with it.
Just a hint, keep the cards in your sideboards, just so you try some cards and change them if you feel they do not fit.
Its a first scratch of a deck, so don't lock it down already, do some experiences, try some cards, replace them, but don't lock it, that way you will always have some fun with it, especially knowing you are not playing competitive but against the same group of people at your job.

Archaeomancer can be removed, but it's a good spell nonetheless, it can help you a lot.
One of the thing i like about Magic, is the challenge to do a deck with only 60 cards. But thats a personal feeling.
Remove the Talent of the Telepath, the Doomed Blade and Go for the Throat and add one another Hero's Downfall (3x total). The mana cost is higher for Downfall, but it can help you in more situations than the 2 others.
Jace Beleren could be removed, is second ability is insane, but........there are better spells for this deck.
Maximum 2 or 3 Shriekhorn, and if needed, remove them entirely.
Use only 20 lands, if you can keep your mana cost bellow 3 for all your spells, you will not need that many lands.
lastly, if needed, remove the Dissolve.
That way you have 16 cards already removed (if you remove all the Shriekhorn and the 2 Dissolve) for a deck of 60 cards.

i must say that there is a lot of good cards on your sideboard right now, its really to your liking the ones you will include.
As told above, i would remove the 7 walls (Nighthawk is a solid blocker, but it could be removed too). Mind Twist is almost useless here. Traumatize seems good on paper, but in action it really sucks in fact: Once you will have reached your 5 mana to cast it, theoretically you should have played some mill spells already, so the library will already be thinner, so the effect will be downgraded, 4x Mind Funeral is a must!
Include the Fog Banks for sure.
Talent of the telepath: maximum 2
Increasing Confusion should be removed too, there are a lot of better spells with lower mana investment.
Psychic Strike takes a lot of mana to cast for what it does, si i would simply include some regular Counterspells or some Mana Leak. I find Dissolve a little bit better than Psychic Strike juste because scry is a good ability to have in this kind of deck.
Another card i really liked was Dimir Charm: the 3rd option allows you to put 2 cards in the graveyard of your opponent as well as allowing you to choose the next draw of your opponent, something awfully fun to do!
I once built a deck of this kind, a really good one at it, and i was using all the lowest mana cost for mill spells (Tome Scour, Breaking//Entering, Mind Funeral, Glimpse the Unthinkable, Dream Twist, Mind Sculpt, Thought Scour) and all the other spells were counterspell or board removal spells. So you want to have the lowest mana cost for your mill spells so that you can keep your mana availables for the counterspell/removal spells.
Hedron Crab is a pillar in this kind of deck, i especially liked to play with lands like Oboro, Palace in the Cloud so every turn for sure there is a landfall that triggers.
The key words are:
-Effectiveness of the mill spells for the lowest mana cost you can have.
-Instead of using creatures for your defense, try to use more counterspell and removal spells.
-Card advantage, card advantage, card advantage (or scry).

if i may, i would suggest Thought Scour, one of my favorite spell in this kind of deck.
Instead of using a lot of walls, try to include Propaganda, its a lot harder to remove than a simple wall.
Speaking of walls, Fog Bank is one of the best wall ever created.
Dream Twist is a nice addition too, and, if you can afford them, Glimpse the Unthinkable is a must.
Also, Surgical Extraction and Extirpate can do wonders to remove all the threats of your opponents.

in this kind of deck: Kiln Fiend is a beast, and because you don't have many removals, some spells like:
Shadow rift, slip through space, distortion strike.

i think Falkenrath Gorger would be a superb addition in this deck.
Alms of the vein and Fiery Temper are also such great spells.

forked bolt still one of my favorite burn spell.
Magma Jet is solid with the scry, especially in this kind of deck where usually you become top deck pretty quickly.

with Death's Shadow, Dark Confidant would not hurt, and your mana cost is decently low.
Does not trigger Delirium, but a huge card advantage. Other than that, i really love your deck, Black and Green being my favorite mix of colors. You made me discover Mishra's Bauble....a card i did not even knew existed......(shame on me).
Bitterblossom could do wonders too in long lasting games for defense purpose (and being an enchantment, with Grim Flayer, could help your Delirium).
Just some suggestions, because your deck seems really fun and strong the way it is now.

one relatively cheap card that i did enjoy playing in a mill deck was Hedron Crab.
It makes a good blocker for the first few turns and can help a lot with the mill system.
On the defense side, some propaganda can really help you survive longer, because don't forget that a mill deck is a race against the clock, so try to slow down your opponent.
Surgical Extraction or Extirpate can do wonders to control the big cards of your opponent.

If it's only your first deck, i can't wait to see what you will come next, because you seem to have a good analysis of the system. Congrats!

Since youre playing a little bit with sacrifice, Grave Pact should be something to look at.
Vampire Nighthawk is still my favorite vampire and fits in almost any black themed deck.
Gifted Aetherborn is a good vampire too (especially with Metallic Mimic).
There's always the good ol Vampire Nocturnus, and since your deck does not have a lot of pure red cards (only 8), i think it should still fit in.

instead of lingering souls, i'd try Gideon, Ally of Zendikar.
Almost as fast as a Lingering soul, but with a lot more chances to survive and can survive your Yaheeni's and/or other boardwipes you may add.

so sad this deck is modern, because one of my favorite ''make a choice'' card is Blazing Salvo!
There is even an Hym to tourach style card: Skullscorch that can be pretty fun to play.
Other than that, I really love you deck pal! I also have a deck based on Vexing Devil but more focused on a reanimator styled deck.
