You get 6 packs and make a 40 card deck, then the rest are your sideboard. It's the format in most pre-releases. Drowned Catacomb was in the sideboard because I did B/G but was very close to B/U because of it and the 2 fog banks and other tricks in blue.

Yeah, the group I play with use house rules and not tournament rules so you would have to obviously tweak it. The goal is get as much mana as you can for those fireballs. Excessive yes but when you play for fun why not?
