Life is hard, and people are mean. We're taught an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. That's how most people might be, 'cause it's a tough world out there in Commander. But that's not how Edric rolls. Edric likes to be everyone's friend, so he does nice things for people who don't like him. He just wants to see everyone get along, but he knows that's just not how the world works when everyone is mean. When people start fighting too much he can defend himself, and he'll fight back if he has to. Even though it makes Edric sad, sometimes people don't want to be his friend.
Everybody likes free stuff. Since they like free stuff, they have to like the person who gives it to them, right? Well, not always. Even though we give them stuff for free we have to make sure they appreciate it and don't try to bite the hand feeding them. And when its our turn to hit back, we make sure we don't pick favorites, and hurt everyone instead.
