coat of arms isnt really as good as you (and all you other people) think it is. for example, pros dont use it, as well as the fact that it isnt expensive at all at magic stores and online retailers. that tells ya somethin, dont it? i end up taking it out of all my tribal decks, and so now ive just stopped putting them in to begin with.

fyi, brave the elements would not protect your creatures from day of judgment.
yes it would, they would have protection fom white and day of judgment is white so it would do anything
Actually, it wouldn't. Protection from "color" only works for specifically targeted spells and abilities, not field altering ones. Your deck would be seriously weak against one that used a lot of field-altering cards. Things I would consider, however: -2 Field Marshal, +1 Catapult Master and +1 Mobilization. Catapult Master allows you to tap 5 soldiers creatures (token or not), to exile target creature. Mobilization gives you extra insurance in the event that your Captains are off the battlefield to continue to give you Vigilance, plus it's a steady token generator.
I don't really like them because its 5 tap to exile when I can use path to exile, and the extra field marshals have proven Very Valuable in all of the games that I've played. I feel that it is a little too expensive for mobilization because while the effect of vigilance is okay, and i'd consider it, 3 mana for a 1/1 token when I have Militia's Pride and Darien seems pretty expensive. I feel the chances of having Darien, Militia's pride, or Captain are very high, and I feel that subtracting the field marshals for it wouldn't be the best idea especially since I'd lose 2 chances at first strike for all of my monsters. IMO I'd rather have first strike than vigilance.

If you wan another win condition, I would throw a mass calcify or two into the sideboard.
Lose the veteran armorers and throw in some veteran armorsmiths. I have played soldiers for way to long and they are still up their as my favorites.
