No sideboard found.

The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

This deck is in no way legal anymore. Took my old Necropotence deck and splashed in some of the newer cards to give it an extra kick... some of the older creatures just don't stack up... I'm looking at you Sengir Vampire.

Deck discussion for Revisiting Necropotence

Damn kazbot, the more & more I check out your decks the more & more I'm impressed with you. This is sick, plus the Ivory Tower (a.k.a. White's answer to "The Rack") compliments this like a cherry on icecream. You have just the right cards to keep someone at bay & buff yourself @ the same time. Maybe throw in 1 more Icy Manipulator is all I can say about this. I like this man, gratz. 8.7 boss.

Thanks for the flattering comment. I really do enjoy deck making and I have just recently got back into the game after being away since the Masques/Saga blocks; older cards being a theme you'll see in many of my decks. A lot has changed, but I see my (small) talent for deck making goes unaffected. To get into the deck at hand...

This deck is really just a recreation of my old tournament deck from the mid 90s during the black deck boom. Since some of the creatures have gotten a bit better, I've been looking to replace some of the more terrible ones, as much as I liked Ihsan's Shade (5/5 Pro White Legend for 6 mana), he needed a bit of a make over. I still debate on changing out the Sengir Vampires though. Any thoughts?

The Icy is more of a permanent sideboard. He is only in there in case some speed deck drops some big creature on me too early. Thanks for the comment!

I wouldn't mind you lookin' @ some of mine like ya' said. For some reason ain't no one checkin' out my decks. Kinda' frustrating when you honesty want to see what you could do to make them better. All I do is rate & comment on people's decks & everyone else is programmed like: Logon, Check for their own ratings, logoff.

So I'd like some input if you could on mine boss. Much appreciated. And btw I'm not accusing you of being this way, I'm just saying the general frustration among most of the basement dwelling closet nerds on here. ;P No, you Kazbot, you're good people.

Not bad. There are a lot of connections to the Necro of the 90s (same time period I played). I have a non-legal Necro deck as well (Creature-less Necro) listed on the site. I know the Necro decks of the past practically required creatures, but with all the creature/board control that you can get now, it's pretty sweet.

I would personally ditch the Sengir's for either a pair or set of Mutilate or Damnation (black's WoG's, both are 2BB). Cabal Coffers will give you mana acceleration. I can keep listing, but then it would look a lot like mine.
