interesting, but perhaps a mite slower than I might like for this. also... not sure what I would take out for it. perhaps Benalish commander? but really don't know how I would feel about taking out a win condition.

yeah, not sure I would feel good removing a mana enabler for this at 3 mana. if it were two or one... that might be a different story.

lol... I suppose if you played elvish spirit guide or lotus petal you could play concordant crossroads on turn one or two, allowing pili-pala to go off turn two. which I think would be a little silly. and not modern legal.

well... I am sorry to burst your bubble, but you can't have 10 glimmerposts or 10 cloudposts... only 4 of each.
but you could use wastes to fit with the colorless theme.

or you could use the urza lands. those also produce lots of colorless mana.
Urza's tower, power plant, and mine add multiple mana if you have all three of them out at once. and they are not legendary so you can have multiples out still. lots of mana.

um... this doesn't work at all as an commander deck. Mishra only grabs artifacts with the same name as what you cast, and you can't have multiples in commander...

or am I missing something?

yeah. which is why I didn't post it here. I am, however, working on a gilder bairn deck to post here.

lol... I actually built a deck around a similar combo the other day. with pili-pala instead of gilder bairn.

that being said I shall attempt to rise to the challenge presented here.

ok, I have a suggestion here. you could drop birds and Llanowar elves and add 4 simian spirit guides and 4 elvish spirit guide. that can get you a turn one win.

Just make sure you play well wisher early and gain a few life before playing squall line or you kill yourself too.
Also you might run out of gas way of you don't have a perfect hand. You may want to add some form of draw in here so you don't wiff and die because you have no hand.

Another thing you could do here is use kobolds.

seeing as how ou might have trouble with getting enough removal, I would say brittle effigy.

wait... those lands produce a color of mana that isn't in the commander's color identity... so they can't be in here can they?

oh. and I would say cranial plating. but not sure if that works... for the same reason.
