interesting. I did have Cabal Therapy in here to discard champion already. but faithless looting is also a very good option. hmm.... but I also really like the flashback for Therapy as it allows me a sac outlet. such a tough decision... :(I am going to have to proxy and test the deck with both in it to see which I think is better. for now I will put Dragonskull summit, sulfurous springs and faithless looting in the sideboard.

I had not even thought about that. Faithless looting might be very good. The real question would be what to take out for it.
it certainly does seem that way, however the deck is designed to make the combo happen in as many ways as possible.
also swapped out dash hopes for some hand disruption.
what would you suggest that I change?
not true. the goal is to use Wake the Dead to reanimate Champion, which has 2 abilities.the first of which has target player lose 6 life when it enters the battlefield.the second ability has that same player gain 6 life.So you have at least 2 in the graveyard, it is an instant kill at the end of the turn you play Wake. it is a combo deck.I also only need 1-3 lands to fully play the deck, so I can afford to run a low land count.
perhaps I might take out mental misstep for a transmute card.
ok, I just finished an interesting Tainted Remedy deck and would really like some feedback on it.http://www.mtgvault.com/kazzong/decks/tainted-champion/any help you guys could give me would be great.thanks in advance. :)
I think that you would be hard pressed to find a better tainted remedy false cure deck anywhere. just so good. :)
ok, after a quick glance it looks to be fairly good. Not really anything stands out as a weak point, but that being said I will see if I can come up with some suggestions for you.
sure I can take a look, though I claim no level of expertise in modern. I shall do my best to give some good advice. :)
which is kind of what I thought when I saw your deck was modern legal. :)and, perhaps a WGB deck for Burnwillows? I am going to build one now, just to see if I can make it work.
you should throw either heavy arbalest, viridian longbow or something similar in here. would make your Myrs even more OP. :)also, as great a card as Plague Myr is... I don't think it fits too well here. other than that I really like this deck. :)
I would honestly go with swords to plowshares instead of doom blade. exiles the creature AND gives life, so doubly good in this deck. although I guess it isn't modern legal so... if you were going that route then it is out... :(also more of a side-note but I wonder if there is ANY way to work something like Grove of the Burnwillows into a tainted Remedy deck.
lol... of course,
Wall of shards is such a broken card with Tainted Remedy.Rest for the Weary is also fantastic here, possible 8 life for 2 mana, just insane.this looks to be a pretty solid deck. although I do agree that some sort of search to get Tainted Remedy might be good. perhaps something with transmute?
interesting. it still comes in tapped, but Needle Spires does look good as a decent clock in a pinch if I don't get any other creatures out. :)Too bad Arid Mesa can't fetch it though. :(good suggestion though. I think I will make the swap.
that is true. a wall can do a lot of good in a multiplayer game. having a blocker for multiple attack phases is great.
if you are looking for a more competitive deck then personally I think that this:http://www.mtgvault.com/egotines/decks/false-life-gain/is probably one of the best Tainted Remedy/False cure builds that I have seen. it has a possible turn 1-3 win.
@EH00FSILENCEHonestly, not sure how that matters here. also card draw is almost certainly never a disadvantage anywhere. That being said, this isn't how I would have built this deck... actually it isn't ANYTHING like how I built around tainted remedy, but that doesn't mean this shell can't work. is it the most competitive shell to build around Tainted Remedy...? no. but does it really have to be hyper competitive to be a fun deck? again no.
