no, I don't think that would make any sense with how it is stated on the card. MTG is very picky about how things are worded.Soulfire Grand Master states that instants and sorceries you control gain lifelink. which essentially means that for each single point of damage they cause, you gain that much life.Cards don't have to be creatures to deal damage, nor do they have to be permanents for them to be under you control. :)so I think that this deck is the PERFECT way to use Soulfire Grand Master. Or at least the closest you could get without blue. :)If Wizards had wanted to make it only apply to the cards that you put out with Manifest, then they would have put something like this:Face down creatures you control gain lifelink. That would make more sense to me.

Treasure hunt, zombie infestation, AND battle of wits? very interesting. really like the use of elixir of immortality here as well. get all those discarded cards back for Battle of Wits. :)
very cool. :) although I have to say that guttersnipe is totally not overpowered here. :)on a serious note...chain lightning is kinda an odd choice I think. if your opponent is playing red at all they will probably just hit guttersnipe with it. I would suggest swapping it for blazing salvo, or spark jolt (for the scry). Love browbeat though. :)
knight exemplar might be better, I think. because cheaper for same ability, +1/+1, and not legendary so you can put multiples of them out. :)
helpful cards: Suffer The Past. XB to play, exile X cards from target player's graveyard, you gain X life and target player loses X life.Piranha MarshOk, last ditch card: kaervek's spite. BBB sacrifice everything, and discard everything, target player loses 5 life.just in case. :)
yaeh, if you REEAAAALLY like Bump, you could run two, and two duress. I personally really dislike Bump simply because its flashback cost is so absurdly high, but its normal CMC is good for 3 life. So I would drop it for 4 duress. but that is just me. if it makes the deck faster then run two.
bump in the night?
Merry Christmas. :)
Why thank you. I consider this to be the ultimate troll deck. :)
voice of resurgence would be good in the sideboard.
again it is the wrong colors. if you have to rely on that to put out a single card, then it shouldn't be in the deck. a free 4/4 IS nice. but what would you swap for it? and if you have no Avatar of Dischord or faithless looting in your hand... it is a completely dead draw.
wrong colors...?but yeah, I guess that would work with the discard...
or want to save a massive chunk of life for later. though that probably wouldn't be very effective. still possible that someone might try.
some people, at least on here, keep the commander card in their sideboard and only do 99 cards in the deck. so that people can tell. :)just like this deck does. :)
I see. interesting.
very interesting.you should space out your description a bit though. make it easier to read.
yes... I wasn't stating that you only had to do one... just that they are both viable and useful targets for that ability.annnnnnddd not my deck. also, the description simply states what needs to happen for you to do well. not that you are only discarding a single card. the other card isn't relevant is all... unless it is another Demigod.
yeah, you discard a creature with unearth, or demigod of revenge with it.
I almost want to suggest throwing in white for personal sanctuary.and perhaps spellskite instead of willbender.
yeah, I actually got the idea for this deck from rhystic study. pretty sweet card. :) chancellor of the annex is an excellent card. :) super useful opening game and mid game if you can get it out.oh, and power sink. :)
