Deck Description

sac deck, with powerful creatures. can't take credit for the whole thing though. got the idea from someone else, and expanded on it a little. Ok, I expanded on it a LOT. I never play this deck, because it once it gets going it isn't fun to play. no one can really do anything to you. because they have no land.

Deck discussion for Borderpost

It's very impressive and I like the concept. I'd like to run a deck like this in a legacy tournament. It would suck being pitted against an extraction deck though

Surgical Extraction, Nevermore, and Memoricide would wreck your shit

I don't know about nevermore, but yeah, the other 2 could do some damage. taking out some of the borderposts would definately be a setback. although it wouldn't do much to me creature-wise because I run a lot of singles.

As Nevermore enters the battlefield, name a nonland card. The named card can't be cast. I just realized how easily nevermore could be abused with flicker

except that the ability fades with each flicker, and a new card is selected. kind of like mind control says "You control enchanted creature", but when it goes away you lose control of that creature. Same thing applies here. if Nevermore leaves the battlefield, it's effect does not stay in play either.

I don't think so. It doesn't say while it's out. It says as it enters the battlefield. Nothing about leaving it. I'm still researching the idea.

go to wizards official site and you can email questions to them from there. I did that when I was confused about the blood/bond combo, and if it was legal. they will respond in about a day or so with the answer.

My friend's a DCI certified judge and he said that it should work

I looked at the official ruling on Nevermore on Wizards site. the FAQ for innistrad states that the named card can be cast again after Nevermore leaves the battlefield.

That makes no sense. There's nothing that states the ability is null

true, but there is nothing that states that the ability continues after the card leaves the field. there are a few cards that state that. mostly older cards.
