the idea is to abuse Descent into Averness by making it one sided. Karn to make their treasures dead weight, and Personal Sanctuary to prevent the damage Descent deals to you.
the main creatures in this deck share a commonality: they can all block any number of creatures. making it impossible to go wide against them. putting Ghostly Possession on them prevents all combat damage that would be dealt to and by them, so going big doesn't get over them, unless they have trample.the idea is to play the defense game until you can get out Karn, Personal Sanctuary, and then Descent. all other cards are to help find or protect the combo, or a finisher.kitchen table casual deck.
