Deck Description

This is a combo deck. The key pieces are blood celebrant, children of korlis and Vito, thorn of the dusk rose. Can win turn 4.

How to Play

The goal is to get it children of korlis, Vito, and blood celebrant at the same time, and have damaged your opponent or gained some life in some way.

In happy Christmas-land:

First turn should either drain or gain some life.
Second turn should play both children of korlis and blood celebrant.
Turn 3 should play Vito.
Turn 4 you pay 19 into blood celebrant, 1 at a time, for black mana each time. Then sacrifice children of korlis to gain 19 life and kill opponent.

Backup cards:

Spoils of the Vault and angel's grace of you don't have blood celebrant out.

Deck discussion for vito-celebrant

Assuming the idea is to pay a bunch of life and regain it all with Children of Korlis while Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose is out, here's a few suggestions:

Tainted Sigil could be another option for regaining life lost.
Adanto Vanguard is another "free" way to keep paying life, just in chunks of 4 life.
And of course, Sanguine Bond is a possibility for Vito's numbers 5 through 8.

Sign in Blood is a way to dig into your combo, and lose life when combo'ing.
Similarly, Thoughtseize is another life loss card that can get rid of an answer to the combo.

yes, the idea is to pay a bunch of life with Blood Celebrant and gain it back with Children of Korlis, causing massive drain with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose. Tainted Sigil is a good backup plan. I knew there was another card I had forgotten about that did that. 3 mana is infinitely more than 1, but as an artifact it is less susceptible to removal.

Sign in Blood is reasonable, but I have to have all my life loss come in a single turn for children or sigil to work. so, if I can use it mid to late game and draw (and still be able to play) children of korlis, that's not bad.

hmm... could also throw in Sanguine Bond as copies 5-8 of vito. that I like.

my ideal is to have 3 lands, a korlis, a celebrant, a vito, and a life gain/drain card.
