Deck Description

This Esper deck is designed to find Zur the Enchanter and dominate the table with control and buff enchantments.

Zur should dish out the following enchantments for various reasons:
- Shielding Plax if he's in danger of drawing hate
- Edge of the Divinity or Prison Term if there is a large blocker
- Steel of the Godhead if there are no better blue/white creatures in play to put it on
- Suppression Field if the opponent uses activated abilities
- Battle Mastery on the Augury Adept for an extra card (even better if she already has Steel of the Godhead!)
- Greater Auramancy if there are other creatures in play

Goldenglow Moth has nice synergy with Godhead of Awe. It also plays well with Holy Day... both should be used as a stalling mechanism while the correct enchantments are put in place.

Godhead of Awe also makes Zealous Persecution utterly devastating, even for creatures with protection, shroud, indestructibility, persist, and/or regeneration.

Jhessian Balmgiver will make any other creature unblockable, and while Steel of the Godhead will often make this unnecessary, it's nice for pushing Zur and the Augury Adept into combat safely to trigger their kick-ass abilities.

Glamer Spinners theoretically works for the deck, but I haven't play-tested it. The idea is to move all the buff spells from a creature that just got blown up and put them on another (even Glamer Spinners!) Whether you'll have the five mana back to flash it in at some point in the game, I haven't discovered.

Lacking two-drops, the Esper Stormblade fills as a color-relevant creature who gets better when pretty much any other creature/enchantment is on the board. Turn three can make it a permanent 6/5 flyer swinging in with Edge of the Divinity.

Since creatures and enchantments will be drawing hate in this deck, I included Hindering Light as the counter-spell of choice, for its color flavor and the card drawing. Mana Leak may be a better choice in some cases due to its flexibility.

Finally, Supply/Demand (obviously using the Demand side) is used to grab either Steel of the Godhead, Shielding Plax, or Zur the Enchanter, as soon as possible.

Suppression Field should definitely be subbed in for Jhessian Balmgiver against the right deck. It's definitely one of my favorite enchantments. More Shielding Plaxes can be subbed for the Greater Auramancy against burn decks. Holy Days should be subbed for moths in ping decks. Mana Leaks must be subbed in for Hindering Lights against particularly crazy green stomp decks. Lastly, throw in another Zur for a Godhead of Awe if you're facing counter-spells and card control.

It's intended for a medium-length match.
