With the undying creatures keeping coming back you can deal damage to the opponent while controlling their creatures at the same time.
With your creatures out on the field you can sacrifice them to deal damage then, using retribution of the ancients to effectively take the counters off your creatures to put -1 counters on your opponents creatures. have your undying creatures as sac/bomb fodder. Lumber knot used as tank for your -1 counters for big creautures. Everything else is self explanatory .

Just to be clear, Retribution of the Ancients does not give -1/-1 counters. It only negs for the turn.
