I was thinking of adding in Collateral Damage to work with the Jeskai sage, basically lightning bolt + draw 1 + prowess proc.

Or maybe Mindswipe to replace 2 of the cancels for later on.

This is a new deck I made, since I don't really like Mono red as much as I like Red/Blue. Overall it adds up to just over 7 dollars at my local shop, so it is pretty budget, but I feel that it just doesn't have enough damage.
I want to add some good burn cards to it, but also keep it in the khans set, any ideas of what I should take out or add in to it?

And actually, if you use the marsh viper with "tainted strike" thats 4 counters, possibly unblockable.

Another cool card i found is "Marsh Viper" ::http://www.mtgvault.com/card/marsh-viper/5ED/:: Like infect, but instead they get 2 poison counters, but that also means buffs dont add to the poison. Or actually, Death's presence would work well, to buff one of them and then swing with infinite power. or lumberknot, altho not very fitting.

Yes it should work, since it would place the counter, spawn the elf, then die, then the counter. But the only way i see that turning into something, is with something like Dictate of Erebos and butcher of Malakir, and you also have 8 erebos emissary

A good card imo would be Glaring spotlight, my friend ran that in his Vraska deck, can work wonders.

Edited a little bit, but might just entirely remake this. so far, took out Wardscale and replaced with new Dromoka, for obvious reasons, and then replaced Destructor with Savage Ventmaw for the mana , so I could possibly get a free dragon out.

For some reason I really like cards like Knight of Infamy, White knight and such. They just seem fun

And that is the reason I put basilica guards instead of things like screacher or syndic of tithes, for the defender and better toughness

I haven't posted it, and pulled it apart IRL, I couldn't manage to balance the red and black evenly , since I dont have as many red discard cards as I do black ones, or I had too many multicolor ones with big costs, like sire of insanity.

I used to have a red/black discard, based around caress and megrim, and cards like blightning and rakdos' return

I'm thinking of ignoring him, and adding in liliana's caress or megrim , since I have a few already, would work well with the extort plus the low mana discards.

Do you think throwing in 2 blood barons would be good? most likely into the sideboard, but as a finisher with the life gain and the chalice, making him an easy 10/10. and if they cant any creatures out to combat him, there wouldn't be much of a way to stop him.

Good to know this deck goes in the right way, I might just try to grab 2-3 of them just for the sideboard, incase my friend decides to play a mill/burn deck instead of creature deck.

Or trickery charm, possible flying or scry 4, in place of one of them

The only reason I have the ponders and preordains is the cheap draws, and trying to set up a lightning bolt/strike with melek, to get the 6 damage off and +6 to the cyclops, +9 with the other spell
