Deck discussion for Legacy Infect

really bad deck, reaper king doesnt fit except for maybe blazing shoal's ability, 4 emrakuls in the side boad is useless. progenitus cant even be played so its useless. put your show and tells in the mainboard and then you can use pregen and emrakul. but replace reaper king .... you know what.. fuck it, this isnt poison, you have 2 cards that do poison, no proliferating, and shitty cards thrown into a pile because they are rare. what you have here is posibly the worst poison deck ever.

and again blazing shoal doesnt even fit either (no red mana) so disregard the part where reaper king could be useful in that combo.

this is not beatdown poison. It wins in one strike with a poison creature boosted by blazing shoal. Its more of a combo deck.

funny?, "missed the point"?, are you kidding me?, a fucking control deck (never fun) with a NON-working finisher... WTF? better you try to put Feldon's Cane on it.........

This deck is really good, its a turn 2 kill with infect. i suspect the "emrakul" and "show and tell" in sideboard lets you switch compleatly your strategy, suprising people with a bomb instead.

please help me with my modern deck: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=403140

I guess you don't know that Blazing Shoal had to be banned in Modern because of this "really bad deck."

looks good, i would add fetchlands because you can shuffle the cards you put back with brainstorm away. Maybe add daze as another "free" counterspell

can't you play the geen pact to tutor progenitus and daze as extra counter backup. there is far more hate in legacy then there was in modern.

Is Reaper King's converted mana cost 5 or 10? That mana cost is confusing.

His converted mana cost is ten, which is what makes him absolutely bonkers for this deck type.

@kicks_422; I'm not sure if it's viable in legacy(I've never tested infect combo), but some people run 1-2 Summoners Pact for search, it helps them to go off a bit they said. I also support the notions of Daze, and fetch lands.

Looks good, but inconsistent. Melira could get rid of the infect, but how many people play her. What happens when all of the agents go bye bye? Pass it to inkmoth? It can be blocked.

1. you don't have nearly enough land so prepared to frequently be land screwed
2. from what i gather the entire point is to get 1 card that is relatively weak, 1 lighting bolt and your screwed, heck even a counter or a pacifism or a cripple blight or a.......etc
3. your spell kite won't stop no target spells
4. I get why you wanna put in the high cost cards but its just gonna fill your hand with crap you can't use

1,Cause you dont trust on probability.
2.Did u ask your self why Blazing Shoald is not banned in Legacy or Vintage?

Anyway, just get fun with that deck, but please do not buy the cards.

Okay so I just happened to look at this deck because I've not seen Legacy infect make front page. The comments wow I dont even know what to say. This is a site to help deck builders get better. So, I dont play legacy but at least ill give a suggestion. The lightning bolt thing brought up is probably correct but if you get some stall time and add in sheltering word that would eliminate any threat. Check out my Modern deck let me know what you think.

The deck is solid, very solid. I'm surprised by the comments and figure that anyone who doesn't understand why Reaper King and Progenitus are in here must just be dense.

HINT FOR CONFUSED PEOPLE!!! YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO PUT EITHER OF THOSE CARDS IN TO PLAY!!!! Doy...

Also, spellskite helps protect against localized creature removal, though it seems many commenters missed that point. Even so, it doesn't offer a LOT of protection, but then, you really only need one turn to get past summoning sickness and you win.

I have an infect deck designed specifically for multiplayer and would appreciate comments on it. It includes a detailed deck explanation.

well yah there clearly is a reason for them, but they are just cramping hand space unless you have 1 of 4 cards, probability says they are just gonna sit there being pretty.
Secondly spell-kites are there to protect against creature removal and there are as many of them as there are creatures its meant to protect, again probability says its gonna look pretty.
Any deck who can only win if they get 1 of 4 cards in a 60 card deck, the odds don't look good.
Also essence scatter, cancel, counter spell... etc and game over your not getting what you want

i've had to play this deck its annoying as hell. very solid build annoying again. i've beaten it a couple times but man it took some very good draws to do it i mean seriously this is got to be one of the most OP decks there is aside from the one deck it doesn't want to play is a deck heavy in control. like FoW's and daze etc. which is why he should add idk. a cavern of souls anyway good deck ^_^s

Love this deck. First time I saw a blazing shoal deck... I had no clue about how it worked. then I saw the combo and thought it was brilliant. This is a really good showing. Well done.
