Crash you opponent in the blood of their own armies! This is a casual, Rakdos, deck that aims to control the battle by killing off your opponent's creatures. A casual deck gains this title if the deck is not legal in Standard or Modern format. This deck is part of my Revised series. A series built around rebuilding decks I either had or have to make them stronger. This deck also falls in the medium cost range between $200 and $300. This deck was given the Favorite Award. Those decks given the Favorite Award are among the few decks that I’ve designed that I like the most.
To play this deck you want to kill of your opponent's forces while also dealing damage to your foes directly. In order to control the battlefield you'll want to kill your opponent's creature; Terminate can help in the early game. For lots of creatures you'll want to get out either Goblin Sharpshooter or Deathbringer Thoctar as soon as possible. Then with either Onyx Mage or Basilisk Collar give this creature deathtouch and wipe out your foes army, creature after creature. For dealing damage Vexing Devil, Lava Spike, and Lightning Bolt are great ways of dealing a fair amount of damage to your opponent quickly. Once your opponent has a dead army in their graveyard Dragonlord Kolaghan can quickly end your enemies in a storm of fire and lightning.
