Deck Description

This is (in my opinion) as close as infect can get to being tournament worthy. Moderate mana ramp, extreme creature control, and creature buffs galore. If you cant kill them by turn three, they sure as hell shouldnt be able to touch you with this much creature removal.

Perks of running this version:
1. Tainted strike (+2/0 deathtouch, rebound) Your used-to-be useless birds of paradise just became fatal. Enemy attacking with grave titan? Ill block with birds. Tainted Strike time, grave titan dies, next turn that plague stinger you left sitting gets a free +2/0.
2. Vines of vastwood. Tired of seeing your creatures being unsummoned, into the roiled, throated, or lightning bolted? For one mana your creature cannot be affected by ANY of that. Kick it for ONE more mana, and it gets +4/+4. Game winner.
3. Deep control. Most Infect decks are hit-or-miss types. They either kill you turn 3/4 or they dont kill you at all. I encorporated enough creature removal with tainted strike, doom blade, and GFTT that even if my opponent manages to survive the early game burning blaze, they will be hard pressed to ever be able to make a counter strike.
4. Garruk. He is only two mana to get out after you use his +1 ability, and the very next turn You can turn your four mana into six, Skithiryx hasted BAM. He sets up the most amazing finishes and becomes a huge target for your opponent, giving your infect creatures some slack and letting you buy the time to set up the one shot combos.

Deck discussion for B/G Infect Control.

SB the Doomblades since it is a potential dead card against mono-black and replace it with Grasp of Darkness or Go for the Throat .

I put the Doom Blades in SB for three Disfigures, and updated my sideboard. Sideboard is for countering kuldotha red, U/B Control, Blightsteel decks, and Myr decks. (these are what I see played most often at my local FNM.)
