There is no reason to have Somberwald Sage in this deck. Maybe you should replace it with Divinity of Pride. That card is INSANE in lifegain.
I'm not up to date with older cards. How does the casting of it work?
Divinity of Pride B/W B/W B/W B/W B/W Creature- Spirit Avatar Flying, Lifelink Divinity of Pride gets +4/+4 as long as you have 25 or more life. 4/4
Does it take 5 or 10 mana to cast?
5 the "B/W" he put means hybrid mana, so either can be used

Hero's Reunion instead of Angel's Mercy. Sanguine Bond would do great here too. TAnd maybe add some Solemn Offering too.

usally i think life gain is bad but this is pretty good
Sanguine bond is tasty Exquisite blood is more tasty Sanguine bond and Exquisite blood together in the same deck is so f'cking delicious
I'd be tempted to drop a colour. I'd run black white with transendent master
I think the three color thing is not worth it, the black is making you to slow, I've drawn a few hands and it looks like often it makes you have to sit back and wait a turn or two, also I'd lose the favor of the woods, it's just not that good, run another chalice of life, its a great game winner, your life is 30 flip three chalices, boom! 15 damage to your enemy each turn
Only suggestions I could make is if you have the cards/money, You could replace Avacyn's Pilgrim with Birds of Paradise, then if you could work in a Sorin Lord of Innistrad that would help the deck a ton.
how about an ajani's pridemate for win condition? And i'm surprised to see no elixer of immortality here, usually a lock for a life gain deck.
i agree that black is slowing you down here. thin out the deck and make room for ajani's and elixer and i wouldn't wanna go near this deck haha
I also think that rest for the weary would rock in this deck, and possibly even a grazing gladeheart, but he might slow you down a little bit since all your creatures are like 2 or 1 drops.

Wow guys. Thanks for all of the help/advice. I will put up a W/G version of this so look for it soon. And SickPony, almost all of my decks are just ideas. I don't have the money nor the cards to make them. Though I would if I could.
try heroes reunion instead of angels mercy. same effect, the difference is heroes reunion is 2 mana g/w.
What format is this? If its just casual, there are a million better things you could be doing, with like 3/4 of the cards
My original intention was for it to be extended with hopes that some of the cards would be reprinted so that it could be standard.
I know you are a little tight on room in this deck, but a disentomb or two would be nice for when the soverign gets removed immediately

Ageless entity, suture priest, essence and soul warden, beacon of immortality, all amazing lifegain cards. Ajani and ajanis pridemate are also really good offense. favor of the woods and sylvok lifestaff are cards you DEFINITELY want to cut.
