WARNING! Goblins on Fire.

by KJSJ3 on 31 July 2012

Main Deck (60 cards)

Sideboard (15 cards)

Instants (8)

Artifacts (4)

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

A standard format burn deck. A decent amount of land production for devil's play. Any ideas for improvements would be greatly appreciated. Need help to finish the sb. I plan to test this at FNM once it's built (9 cards left).

Deck discussion for WARNING! Goblins on Fire.

This deck looks positively evil. The only thing missing is Fervor.

If you get the chance, I'd gladly take any advice or suggestions on my Mono black control/burn. Keep it standard. I plan on hitting up my first qualifier with this.

With the tokens, burn at the stake is awesome. If you are top decking a lot, try dangerous wager. Nice deck.

This seems awesome, especially the sue of Koth. Maybe you could use Goblin Chieftain over Infernal Plunge to haste your Krenko and his minions :)

Very nice for standard. I love the use of Increasing Vengeance.

i personally would -2 koth and +2 arms dealer. with krenko pumping out tokens arms dealer gives you a great way to spend those burning creatures w/o having to spend valuable burn spells on them.

Oh Krenko, Mob Boss only if "Mob Justice" were standard the bullshit I would pull!

I'm don't really like standard but I could say that this one is good.
Good job KJSJ3!

Koth and Chandra win games. They are extremely useful. I'll take a look at your deck (comment not guaranteed).

I guess I was thinking more aggro like this:

Goblins M2013 standard
http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=373941

Or, a little less aggro like this:

RDW M2013 Standard
http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=372407

Or, remove the aggro and abuse proliferate to get off Koth's ultimate like this:

http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=378759

OR, ramp up to some fatties - then fling em at their face:

http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=378592

Anyway, I'm not sure I have any advise for this list. But, I'd like to hear how your FNM goes and what you think you might do differently.

About a year ago, I played RDW a lot and really enjoyed it - but haven't play it much since. I was thinking about trying my goblin m2013 or rdw 2013 before they rotate out though... so it will be interesting to hear your thoughts.

This deck does well in mirror matches. I haven't had time to go to FNM and it would be pointless to go with an unfinished deck. I'll check out the decks when I have some time.
