Deck Description

I am fairly new in standard, so I wanted to created a quick and easy deck to play, I hope you enjoy this one.

If you want more deck like this please leave a like of a comment and I'm always open for recommendation!

How to Play

Right now the big weakness of this deck it's his turn one, because you have no 1 drop creature.

Servant of the Conduit: Help to ramp your deck.

Voltaic Brawler: For two mana you have a 3/2 with the potential to be 4/3 with trample. So it can chip your opponent if they block with weak blockers.

Longtusk Cub: Attack your opponent with this card when you have the opportunity because it will be one of your main energy generator. Plus you can protect it by giving it +1/+1.

Bristling Hydra: It will be very hard for your opponent to get ride of this card due to the hexproof ability.

Electrostatic Pummeler: This card is one of your biggest win condition. When you pay it's energy cost, it basically double the power and toughness. So lets say that on turn 4, Electrostatic Pummeler is already on the board. Cast Larger Than Life on it, attack then cast Blossoming Defense and Built to Smash and pay it's energy ability. You are looking to a 20/20 Trample Hexproof!

Deck discussion for G/R Budget Energy Deck

My commplements to you sir, the deck is very cheap, and it also looks like it is a fun deck, however, in my opinion, your deck looks a bit land light, and it has no targeted removal. So I would recommend to add cards like Prey Upon, Hunt the Weak, Bombard, or lightning strike.

Happy to help, forgot about Harnessed Lightning, and speaking of Harnessed Lightning, you probably should remove one Lightning Strike from your sideboard, and add in a Harnessed Lightning, because, in your deck, Harnessed Lightning is better than Lightning Strike.
