I like nivmagus elemental more than blistercoil weird. Also I wouldn't main board 4 detonate. Melek, Izzet Paragon could be cool in this deck his mana cost is kind of high though.

Haha I hope we all get mythic rares! Well technically you could subtract the $2 for basic land and it would be under $20. I always give myself a $2 cushion because everyone should already have the mana.

Seems like the deck is too small. I think you need a finisher and I think that nivmagus elemental eats my spells that I want to cast. I think I would use radkos cackler instead or just move the guttersnipes up. The searing blood/satyr firedancer is a great combo and I would do 4 of each. Electrickery is great but only against small decks so I would sideboard it and like you said in bang or bust use mizzeum mortars.

Great idea! I might need to add Polymorph's Jest as well. Young Pyromancer would replace Saytr Firedancer ...Do you think Circle of flames is any good here?
That kind of depends. If your metagame is dependent on superfriends of weenie decks, then yes. If not, I'd leave it in the sideboard. I am totally on board with Young Pyro in place of the Satyr. Polymorphist's Jest seems like an excellent addition.
Also, would Gainsay be a good addition to the Sideboard? Perhaps Essence Scatter?
I won't add it, but battlefield thaumaturge and cone of flame are amazing.
