A deck built around holding off your opponent with big toughness creatures until you can have Doran hit the field. Rhox Faithmender + Doran = +10 life per attackIndomitable Ancients = 10/10 for 4Skinshifter = 8/8 for 3Nyx-Fleece Ram = 5/5 for 2. Good in the beginning game to hold your opponent at bay until you can Doran. Once you have Hold the Gates on the field, your opponent will be unable to attack you. Vigilance is ftw. This deck kept losing against Dancing in the Faerie Circle, so I added Gravity Well to end that problem. Bar the Door is "all creatures you control get +4/+4" for 3 mana. Tree of Redemption + Hold the Gates = +1 life per turn for each gate you control. All additional trees and Hold the Gates double the life gain.
