The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...
Start typing a card name and use the auto-complete feature to quickly select the card you're trying to add. Enter a quantity and add that card to your sideboard!
Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.
Based on a deck I saw by Lelouch32. I don't wish to just copy/paste his deck, so this is just a little twist on what I saw by him, Another thing I could try is putting in Prototype Portal to Imprint either Darksteel Axe or Infitration Lens ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Edit: I tried Prototype Portal and it runs a little too slow.. And for some very odd reason, whenever I use this deck I *never* get any mana! SRSLY WTF!!! It has the right amount of lands, but whenever I use this deck I go for half the match only getting 2 mana available. Anywho, I'm looking forward to Besieged, well because of cats!!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I decided on removing the Skyguards and throwing in Steppe Lynx because I had already put in the fetchlands, so they are a great 1 drop that will benefit from this. :3 Meow~! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ So I playtested with the new cards and so far its working great, and I only really ran into trouble once when I was only catching equipment.. I would try to find room for either sword of vengeance or sword body and mind
The equips are actually one of the few things that I see as relatively unchangable. I'm mostly poking around what creatures I should put in, and how I should balance them. Lelouch put in Wall of Omens, but I'm trying to keep mine more kitty based. I'm not trying to make a equip deck, it's just that Kemba needs equips to really work.
Honor of the Pure will do nothing for 14 creatures. It's only effective when you have a decent number of creatures on the board. You're not exactly going to win the game through creature mass attack. This deck is based around having 1 or 2 creatures equipped like berserkers to swing through for damage. So I would replace the Honors of the Pure with creatures, but if you think equipment is more important then that would work as well. You already have 3x Honor of the Pure in your main deck so you can't have 4x more in your sideboard. =) I would replace them with celestial purges in the sideboard. What's the point of Ajani's Pridemate? He's essentially a 2 for a 2/2 for the entire game because when you have Ajani, the Planeswalker out, you'll be focused on using its -1 ability to give your creatures vigilance. The +1 for 2 life seems rather insignificant for making a 2/2 into a 3/3. Your sideboard could make up the 3 slots lost with Ajani's Pridemate by replacing them with Brave the Elements. After all, there is no situation in which I would want to sideboard in Ajani's Pridemate. Alright that's a lie since I would use him for 2hg with a Soul Sisters partner, but that's a different scenario. =) All in all looks like a fun deck to play. Meow!
Actually, I think the Prototype Portal that I added will help the deck alot in terms of my low-cost equips. also, I see what you mean about Honor of the Pure, I just wanted to see how it looked. I'm gonna check out the cards you posted before I change it again.
The equipment is for Kemba, Kha Regent, that's why they're all low-cost low-equip. She puts down a Cat token for each equip she has on her during her upkeep. So yes, it's based around having a couple berserkers, while Kemba stores up her Cat tokens.
You get mana screwed every game because the deck has an off-center probability curve =/ Math = good deck building =P Try this: Take out 2 Trusty Machete and 1 Darksteel Axe and put in 3 Adventuring gear in their place. That --should-- help =]
With Adventuring Gear wouldn't I also wish to include fetchlands? Just to get the most of out the Gears when I can. There's also the idea of slight deck thinning.
Well sure. Fetchlands are almost always a good idea.
Thank you for the suggestions, I already had the cards to make the swaps with my deck. Although I think I'll have to wait till the weekend to test it out. Maybe I'll take it to my local shop if I go on friday.
