Deck Description

With all the defenders that came out in RTR I decided to build a deck based around them.... And, why not throw in a Door to Nothingness? Axebane Guardian will tap for loads and loads of mana. As long as you keep her supplied with a few allies.
The deck has 3 essential win conditions:
1. Door to Nothingness. Between Axebane Guardian and Chromatic lantern, you'll definitely have the mana to use it.
2. Mill. Nephalia Drownyard and Jace, Memory Adept are here for just that. Have spare mana? Drownyard. Have Jace? Mill 10 a turn. Simple and effective.
3. (My personal favorite) Ludvic's Test Subjects... spilling your excess mana into these guys is very worthwhile, and you'll have plenty of it to go around. Stomping in with a 13/13 Trampler can be devastating. Especially if they're worried about your other win conditions too.
Thragtusk is really just in there for the Life-Gain. He's an amazing card, but, I 'd be lying if I said he was more fun than a Test Subject.
Tips, comments, and suggestions are appreciated!!

Deck discussion for Defending the Door

Not a fan of Type 2 play, but this is sweet. Seems pretty versatile. Have you considered any 1 of's of big fatties? Like Maybe grislebrand or angel of serenity?

Ive thought about it. . . . And I think it would be a great add, Im just unsure of which fatty would work well in here. Serenity has removal and a nice power to her. Griselbrand, well, he's Griselbrand. Other Fatties Ive considered are: Primordial Hydra, all the excess mana could make him HUGE; Niv-Mizzet, not nearly as big as the other options, but, he adds draw power and another outlet for mana; Avacyn, making all of my defenders and Planeswalkers indestructible? Yes please; and Gisela, a test subject and/or a Thragtusk swinging with her can be devastating.

Hmm, very good idea's. Hadn't considered avacyn. She seems like the best option overall. one thing i see here is a vulnerable door upon entering. Maybe a couple temporal masterys? Lots of mana means you dont have to miracle, and you can get that extra turn to untap door. Maybe being able to support it with some syncopate's or other counterspells to help the door stay alive could help too.
