A Jund deck for standard based around the current available Hydras.When M13 came out I was absolutely in love with Primordial Hydra, so much so, that I built a ramp deck based around him, so, when his cousin came out in Dragon's Maze(Savageborn Hydra) I knew that I needed to play both of them in a deck.So... This deck holds a lot of synergy with its line-up.-Corpsejack Menace doubles ALL counters that are added to my creatures(This doesn't apply to the Hydras when they originally come into play, but, when Primordial Triggers or when Savageborn adds on to his, Corpsejack will double those)-Exava, the Rakdos Blood Witch... What's better than a couple of Giant beaters? Giant beaters with Haste. All of the Hydra's power/toughness comes from the +1/+1 counters that they come into play with, Exava says that ALL creatures with +1/+1 counters on them have Haste... Oh the thought of Playing a Savageborn while I have Exava out... And then Sticking a Rancor on him... Oh yeah, that's good.-Huntmaster of the Fells gives us a little more sustainability so that we have the time to actually play our Hydras. Comments and Suggestions are appreciated!
