Deck Description

Another attempt at a Naya midrangey deck for standard play.

How to Play

Hopefully your opening hand has an avacyn's pilgrim and/or a farseek, if so, you'll be able to play a turn ahead, which is a really important thing, especially in the agro match-up. Life-gain is very abundant in here.... Centaur Healers, Huntmasters, and Thraggles mean I won't be anywhere close to minimum(as long as all goes according to plan). Restoration angel just flows right along with the ETB abilities. Reckoner is an amazing wall, especially when it comes up against burn removal.... "Deal your damage, I'll simply send it back at you!" I always feel evil when I see a Mizzium mortars played as the answer for him. Domri Rade in here as a 4-of, not sure how I like it yet, might go to 3 and stick a Garruk in the mainboard again.... Domri does say card advantage in creature based decks though....

As for the sideboard:
Mizzium mortars=Extra removal against creature-decks
Rhox Faithmender=Really funny against agro decks. It blocks anything they throw at it, along with doubling my life gain.... "Yes, that was 10 life from a Thragtusk.... Mwahaha"
Naturalize against any Blind Obediance or Aura decks.
Garruk is in there for control decks mostly. He's come in against other midrange decks too, usually for their huntmasters and such.
Triumph of Ferocity=AMAZING card advantage against control. I've drawn off of an Avacyn's pilgrim more times than I could say.
Boros charm=Decent for the extra punch it can give a game. Or, if their playing a lot of board wipes/ spot removal.... I don't like that much....
Loxodon Smiter= Almost always comes in against Control. A creature that is bigger than almost everything they can get out? Check. Can they stop him from enterimg? Nope. Seems legit.
